The 12th Braz-Tesol National Convention is coming up and gives you, teachers, the opportunity to widen your networking circle and enhance your career

To warm up for the conference, the Braz-Tesol committee has organized online debate forums on pre-convention topics. And, as their motto is “The more we are, the stronger we become”, BTNC will also offer workshops on professional development opportunities and the possibility for networking and getting your CV into the right hands. • The Pre-Convention Institutes (PCI’s) consist of workshops that offer hands on professional development opportunities for interested participants registered for the convention. PCI’s are designed and led by the Special Interest Groups (SIG), and will take place on Monday the 19th of July with three great workshops planned. • If you are interested in interacting and sharing ideas with other BRAZ-TESOL members, especially with those who are coming in to São Paulo for the convention, you might want to take part in the all new Braz-Tesol Forum, an online discussion group which debates pre-convention topics. • If you are interested in beginning or developing your career in the ESL/ELT market, BRAZ-TESOL will offer the perfect opportunity for it: The Job Market Room. This special area will house some of the most reputable schools, language centers and publishers who will welcome enquiries from those interested in getting into the market. The Job Market Room will operate 9.30 a.m.-5:30 p.m., from the 20th to the 22nd of July. Bring your CV!
